About us

The people behind the website and working with Costadelsol.se have a lot of experience of the Spanish sun coast. In addition to 30 trips to the Costa del Sol, we also owned an apartment in San Pedro de Alcantara for many years, located a mile from Marbella. This combined means we know the area very well and have visited all the places we write about. To build a credible travel guide about the Costa del Sol, we believe it is necessary that we have been there ourselves and looked, taken pictures, and filmed.

We started the website because we thought there was a real lack of a good guide to the area. This was a little surprising given that the Costa del Sol is visited by many Swedes every year, but that’s how it was. As a visitor, you should be able to read about all the important places on the sun coast and easily book apartments, hotels, car rentals, flights, etc. through the website. The work on the site started in early 2015 and is continuously being developed.
